A 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia on Sunday (Jul 7), triggering a brief Tsunami alerts that sent panicked residents fleeing to higher ground. No major damage reported and authorities had since lifted the Tsunami alerts.

7 charged with Orchard Towers murder


The victim believed to have been wounded in the brawl that reportedly started inside Naughty Girl Club on the second storey of Orchard Towers and continued to the floor below. The victim was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7.25am on 02 July.

Coffee Bean SAF Day Screw Up


1st July was SAF Day and many companies in Singapore would be having promotions to honor the boys of the island and Coffee Beans was one of them who offered 50% off their Ice Blended drinks. Everything sounds good until we take a closer look at the promotional poster and realize that the army personnel used in the poster was not in SAF uniform. Coffee Bean quickly took the poster down and replaced it with a generic one. 

The damage was done but at least the discount still there.

1.7M Singaporeans will receive S$1B in GST vouchers and MediSave top-ups
